Disciplr's content consists of curriculum courses that are not always adaptable to various learning
environments and ages. I created a solution that would let teachers choose different pieces of any
lesson or resource on the platform to create a completely unique lesson plan.
Working closely with our engineers, I designed a search feature and interface based on the information architecture and data points in Disciplr's API. At the end of the discovery and design stages, I had produced, mapped, and annotated an end-to-end prototype that I demoed and explained to the leadership team.
While the feature was received enthusiastically, the Frankenbuilder (as it became known) was only partially implemented, after cuts to the development budget stopped progress shortly after the search feature was released.
